Born in Ceuta (Spain) on 16 March 1959, José Luis Ruiz Romero, a great specialist in the preparation of racing boats, has dedicated himself to professional sailing both as crew and shore-team member. He has taken part in numerous sailing events around the world, most notable his role in the Tiscali Open 60’ team for the Around Alone Race (skipper Simone Bianchetti – finishing third overall).
