] Born in Milan on 5 July 1963, Pietro d’Alì discovered from a very young age his passion for the sea and the boats by driving the family fishing boat. Since his childhood, he has been sailing on all sorts of boats and has successfully raced in many national and international events.

1980: Italian Champion class 420.

1981/1982: Italian Junior Champion class 470.

1986/1987: Italian Champion and silver medal in the Kiel World Championship, class 470.

1988: Italian Champion class J24.

1990: Italian Champion class Asso 99.

1993: Italian and European Champion class Star.

1993/1994: Participated in the Withbread  race around the world on Brooksfield.

1995: Italian Champion class J22. Winner of the “Giro d’Italia a vela”.

1997: Admiral Cup in the Italian team on Brava Q8.

1997-2003: Member of the America’s Cup Team Prada.

2000: Italian representative in the Star class at the Sydney Olympic games.

Winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup on team Prada Luna Rossa.
